Salary: $125,100 – $210,300 per year

What you will do

• Lead SOX impact assessments for new products, non-routine transactions, and major organizational changes.
• Manage SOX evaluation for acquisitions and post-close integration of acquired entities.
• Own the business process SOX control framework, including standards and design principles.
• Identify control gaps and drive cross-functional remediation action plans through resolution.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors on planning, walkthroughs, testing, and deficiency evaluation.
• Build and develop the Business SOX Compliance team through hiring, coaching, and priority setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with a CPA certification.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including Big 4 public accounting and senior SOX/audit experience at a public company.
• Deep knowledge of SOX, COSO, PCAOB standards, SEC reporting requirements, and U.S. GAAP.
• Experience leading SOX business process control design and assessment in complex environments.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage professional teams.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with audit tools such as AuditBoard or Optro.
• Familiarity with AI tools.
