What you will do

• Provide executive oversight of monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.
• Lead the SOX compliance framework and internal control environment, including IT General Controls (ITGC).
• Oversee global accounting operations including general ledger, treasury, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and consolidations.
• Drive the adoption of automation and AI-enabled tools to streamline accounting operations and reduce manual effort.
• Partner with executive leadership, FP&A, and cross-functional teams to support scalable growth and financial governance.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing global accounting organization focused on operational excellence.

Requirements

• CPA certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership roles.
• Public company experience, preferably within life sciences, biotech, diagnostics, or genomics.
• Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance.
• Must have current authorization to work in the United States without the need for present or future sponsorship.
