What you will do

• Design, implement, and administer organization-wide systems and infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance.
• Partner with Central IT teams, including Network, Security, and Application Support, to achieve strategic objectives.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and act as an escalation point for complex system-related issues.
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems and perform root-cause analysis.
• Manage system monitoring, patch management, and backup/recovery solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of systems engineering or infrastructure experience delivering secure and high-performing systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of server operating systems, specifically Windows Server and/or Linux.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Proficiency with scripting or automation tools like PowerShell or Bash.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Technical certifications in Microsoft, Linux, VMware, or cloud platforms.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, SCCM, or Intune.
• Familiarity with containerization and modern infrastructure technologies.
• Experience with ITIL or similar service management frameworks.
