What you will do

• Manage and implement diverse engineering design and consulting projects.
• Conduct building and fire code reviews, analyses, and site visits.
• Develop fire protection strategies, performance-based design approaches, and alternative solutions.
• Prepare and peer review technical project reports.
• Coordinate with project team members, clients, and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Assist with business development activities to support organizational growth.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in fire life safety code consulting, smoke control, fire suppression/alarm systems, or performance-based design.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Fire Protection), Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven project management experience.
• Strong ability to develop building code concepts, conduct plan reviews, and perform field inspections.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and interact effectively with industry professionals and authorities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Smoke Control Design or Inspection.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or on track to professional designation.
