Electrical Engineer Team Leader (Industrial Systems)

Location: Pocatello, Idaho, USA; on-site. Travel up to 25%.

Base salary: $90,000–$140,000 USD per year, plus performance-based bonuses.

What you will do

• Lead electrical engineering design for industrial machinery, systems, structures, and processes from proposal development through Issued for Construction drawings.
• Design power distribution systems, motor control centers, and low- to medium-voltage electrical infrastructure.
• Apply instrumentation, control systems, load calculations, short-circuit and coordination studies, arc-flash analysis, and relevant electrical codes.
• Manage project information, documentation, deliverables, task assignments, schedules, and customer communications.
• Support business development through client relationships, proposals, scope definition, fee estimates, and presentations.
• Establish and grow the office’s electrical engineering function, including tools, standards, team development, and technical mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related electrical engineering field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
• At least five years of experience in consulting engineering, food processing, wood processing, mining and metals processing, or an equivalent field.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, practices, tools, and industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, collaborate across engineering disciplines, and lead project teams.
• Must work on-site in Pocatello, Idaho, USA; travel up to 25%.
