What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end IT help desk, including equipment provisioning and automation to increase ticket deflection.
  • Manage and optimize the productivity stack, specifically Google Workspace and Slack.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy and capability roadmap.
  • Rationalize the SaaS stack to reduce complexity and unnecessary spending.
  • Establish a professional service delivery model based on SLOs to measure and improve team performance.
  • Integrate AI and managed services to deflect volume and enable high-leverage work.

Requirements

  • Proven experience running an IT or corporate technology function at a high-growth startup.
  • Service delivery mindset with a focus on SLOs rather than just ticket volume.
  • Advanced configuration expertise in Google Workspace and Slack.
  • Strong understanding of security implications regarding corporate tool management.
  • Player-coach ability to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution.
  • Must be based in Canada or the United States.
