What you will do

• Maintain, calibrate, and repair F16 Flight Simulators and associated support equipment.
• Perform software maintenance, installation of updates, and hardware changes.
• Conduct and document preventative maintenance and readiness checks for simulator instruments.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in electronic, mechanical, and optical systems.
• Interpret engineering drawings and manufacturers' manuals to solve complex technical problems.
• Support general field site facility activities and data collection records.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is strictly required due to government contract.
• Active TOP SECRET Clearance (in-scope or under continuous evaluation).
• Bachelor's degree in electronics, or a two-year technical course, or 4 years of military technical training.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in electronics maintenance of similar complexity.
• Ability to climb ladders, stoop, bend, and crawl into aircraft cockpits.
• Ability to distinguish colors and detect auditory or olfactory anomalies.
