Location: Greater Seattle Area, United States. Travel to rocket engine test sites may be required occasionally. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, permanent residents, refugees, or asylees lawfully admitted to the United States.
Base pay for Washington applicants: $85,049–$119,067.90 per year. Other site ranges may differ.

What you will do
- Assemble prototype and flight-grade avionics assemblies, electrical and mechanical component systems, and related infrastructure.
- Solder and rework SMT/PCB assemblies down to 0201-sized components and verify completed work.
- Develop lab circuits, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, test fixtures, and electrical ground support equipment.
- Perform PCB-level testing, checkout, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic assemblies.
- Create and release control-system drawings and technical documentation while maintaining circuit-card configuration control.
- Support root-cause investigations, corrective actions, non-conformance processing, and integration of avionics units with operator consoles and test assets.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with electrical or electromechanical assemblies, avionics, or aerospace test environments.
- Knowledge of basic electronics theory and the ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and assembly procedures.
- Proficiency with electronic laboratory equipment such as power supplies, handheld multimeters, and debugging tools.
- Experience assembling, testing, and reworking cable and harness assemblies, with demonstrated ESD control practices.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills, with attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and basic computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Nice to have
- IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001, or IPC-7711/7721 certification.
- Experience building avionics labs, electrical ground support equipment, or electrical test assets.
- Knowledge of digital and analog circuits, computers, microprocessors, networks, PCB layout, potting, or precision R&D environments.
- Experience with Creo, Zuken, or equivalent modeling, drafting, and engineering-drawing tools.
