Project Engineer II (Mechanical)

What you will do

• Lead the design and release of mechanical assemblies, layouts, and BOMs for system projects.
• Perform calculations, tolerance analysis, and design reviews to ensure equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with controls, electrical, and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Support FAT, SAT, and commissioning through hands-on troubleshooting and validation.
• Interface with suppliers and offshore teams to ensure successful installation of designs.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of mechanical design experience in automation, capital equipment, or material handling.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (e.g., Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Strong knowledge of materials, fabrication methods, and GD&T.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship available).
