TL;DR

Business Development Manager (Transportation & Logistics): Driving direct and indirect revenue growth within Enterprise Accounts through complex consultative sales strategies with an accent on the transportation and logistics segment. Location: Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Must be eligible to work in the United States (verified via E-Verify). Hybrid model with frequent international travel (up to 60%) required.

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 USD

What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of enterprise customer acquisition opportunities to generate new ARR in the transportation and logistics segment.
  • Develop and implement consultative sales and pursuit strategies, documenting all activities in Salesloft and SFDC.
  • Lead contract development and qualify opportunities for quota retirement.
  • Collaborate with Business Segment, Revenue Operations, and Partner Account Managers to align sales activities with broader strategies.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to provide input on new business opportunities.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and conferences to build brand presence and thought leadership.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management.
  • 4-8 years of experience in the Transportation and Logistics industry.
  • 3-5 years of Enterprise and SaaS Sales experience.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States is mandatory (E-Verify).
  • Proven track record of developing new accounts within the telematics or fleet management industry.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally up to 60% of the time.

Nice to have

  • Post-secondary degree in Engineering, Business, or Commerce.
  • Strong aptitude for leveraging AI capabilities to augment selling activities.
