Salary: $112,924 – $125,275 per year

What you will do

• Develop and deploy ground operational systems for the SDA GMI program within a cross-functional team.
• Design, develop, and manage APIs and cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS (EKS, Lambda, S3) and Azure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, ArgoCD, and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Ensure system integrity through encryption, PKI, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
• Leverage AI prompt engineering and tools to accelerate workload and innovate development processes.
• Provide technical leadership to the software development process and mentor team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or STEM field with 5+ years of experience (or Master's with 3+ years).
• Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX, YAML, and JSON.

Nice to have

• AWS Solutions Architect certification.
• Experience with Kafka messaging platforms.
• Familiarity with Scaled Agile methodology and best practices.
