Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Westminster, CO (Hybrid: 3 days in office). Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, Asylee, or Refugee) and able to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.

Salary: $102,000 – $149,600 annually.

What you will do

• Design and develop new services and feature improvements for existing systems.
• Lead collaborative design and development efforts with other engineers.
• Provide architectural advice for cloud-based distributed tech stacks.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and functional tests.
• Troubleshoot and remediate operational issues within the CI/CD pipeline.
• Participate in Communities of Practice to improve engineering standards.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing complex software systems.
• Expertise with Python and Linux application development.
• Experience with REST, JSON, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
• Experience supporting code in a pipeline deployment workflow.

Nice to have

• Experience with Aerospace or Satellite Ground Systems.
• Expertise with TypeScript (Angular/React) and JavaScript.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and PaaS tools (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks like Pytest or Cucumber.
• Experience with ELK stack or analytical platforms like Jupyter/Matlab.
