What you will do

• Design and operate resilient distributed systems and cloud automation tools across AWS, GCP, Azure, and Alibaba.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and manage containerization via Kubernetes and Docker.
• Develop production-grade software by integrating AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and OpenAI API into the workflow.
• Orchestrate complex systems where AI agents are seamlessly integrated into human workflows.
• Participate in on-call rotations to manage live-site issues, deliver features, and retire technical debt.

Requirements

• 10+ years of backend software development experience in Java, Go, Python, or Ruby.
• Must be based in Bellevue, Washington.
• Hands-on experience with AI development tools and advanced prompt engineering for production-ready outputs.
• Experience with critical infrastructure services, including monitoring, alerting, logging, and reporting.
• Proficiency in agile development and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
• Experience maintaining shared system context repositories to enable reliable AI operations.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed database systems and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with open source technologies like Spinnaker or Zookeeper.
• Experience writing microservices on containerization frameworks such as Mesos.
