Salary: $102,000 - $170,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and develop operational code for new features and defect repairs.
• Create automated unit, functional, and integration tests.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and provide detailed documentation of functionality and test results.
• Collaborate within an agile scrum team alongside system, operations, and spacecraft engineers.
• Participate in Communities of Practice to improve software engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing complex software systems.
• Expertise in Python for webservices (Django) and scripting.
• Proficiency with Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS/AL3) and API concepts (REST, JSON, YAML).
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Gherkin, and Behave.

Nice to have

• Experience with K8S, Docker, Jenkins, Helm, and Terraform.
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Proficiency in Ruby and Go programming languages.
• Experience in Aerospace or Satellite Ground Systems.
• Background in hybrid cloud networks and CI/CD pipelines.
