What you will do

• Develop electrical distribution and emergency generator system designs and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Design lighting systems, electrical systems, and fire alarm systems.
• Perform electrical load calculations and select/size appropriate equipment.
• Edit electrical system specifications and review equipment submittals for compliance.
• Survey existing buildings to identify electrical systems and components.
• Observe and report on electrical construction work in progress.

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technology program.
• 3-5 years of experience in the design of electrical systems for various facilities.
• Design experience in commercial, residential, and institutional projects.
• Hands-on proficiency with latest versions of AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
• Must be based in Roanoke, VA for hybrid work arrangement.
