What you will do

• Build and maintain internal data infrastructure and tooling to support 300+ engineers.
• Develop and optimize batch and streaming ingestion systems processing terabytes of data daily.
• Simplify processes for deploying and monitoring data processing workloads on AWS.
• Promote operational excellence through rigorous testing, monitoring, and on-call support.
• Document technical decisions and lead team presentations to foster knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Must be based in the US or Canada.
• Experience designing and maintaining internal tools and services on AWS.
• Proficiency with Node.js, Python, Spark, Airflow, and AWS services like Lambda, EMR, ECS, and Kinesis.
• Strong background in distributed systems at scale.
• Customer-driven mindset with a track record of building high-quality developer tools.
