What you will do

• Define benchmark methodologies and guidelines for competitive analysis.
• Optimize product configurations to ensure fair and equal testing conditions.
• Execute benchmarks and perform deep analysis of the results.
• Collaborate with engineering and developer relations to validate technical findings.
• Publish results through technical blogs or white papers for external audiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with Python, Java, and Linux shell scripting.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems performance (CPU, memory, disk I/O, network, latency).
• Proven ability to perform root cause analysis for complex system performance issues.
• Familiarity with benchmarking in Linux VM and containerized environments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across geographically distributed teams.
• Must be based in Canada or the United States

Nice to have

• Experience building benchmarking frameworks, performance tooling, or automated test infrastructure.
• Proficiency with AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
• Prior experience with hirify.globalsearch.
• Experience applying AI to enhance benchmarking design or tooling.
