Salary: $113,000–$188,000 annually.

What you will do

• Design and maintain backend services and platform components for modern data architecture.
• Build integrations with internal and external data sources, APIs, and event streams.
• Partner with data engineering and product teams to define scalable data models.
• Improve reliability, observability, and performance of data workflows.
• Implement best practices for testing, monitoring, logging, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and debug production systems.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Active U.S. Government Security Clearance at the TS/SCI level with CI Polygraph required.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend skills.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3 and RDS.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, or large-scale data processing.
• Gitlab and Gitlab CI experience.
• Openshift, Helm, and Docker containerization skills.
• DoD 8570 IAT II certification.
