Salary: $144,000–$216,000

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines, storage solutions, and efficient access layers using cloud-native technologies.
• Build and maintain core platform components including event streaming, lakehouse storage, and ETL workflows.
• Implement data quality, lineage, and access controls to ensure security and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, and Infrastructure teams to deliver high-impact data capabilities.
• Provide technical mentorship and code reviews to champion engineering standards and platform stability.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools to improve pipeline performance, observability, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on data infrastructure or distributed systems.
• Proven experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines at scale.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern data tools like Snowflake, dbt, Kafka, Airflow, and Spark.
• Experience building and integrating APIs for data ingestion and observability.
• Understanding of secure data handling and enterprise-grade security practices.
• Strong communication skills with a track record of cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience working within a startup or high-growth SaaS environment.
• Exposure to or interest in AI/ML data pipelines or real-time analytics architectures.
