What you will do

• Drive the technical vision for next-generation applications incorporating AI capabilities and responsible AI practices.
• Lead the adoption of AI-powered development tools and integrate Gen AI solutions with enterprise platforms.
• Manage and mentor cross-functional teams of software and data engineers, ensuring technical excellence.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and RAG systems.
• Perform code reviews to ensure high-performance, elegantly coded, and rigorously designed software.
• Balance technical leadership with business judgment to align engineering choices with organizational goals.

Requirements

• 15+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 5+ years in data engineering.
• 7-8 years of leadership and people management experience, including mentoring developers.
• Expertise in Java, .Net, Python, AWS, Microservices, and Kubernetes (last 5 years of versions).
• Strong experience with Spark frameworks, Scala, and large-scale dataset analysis.
• 1+ years of applied experience with Gen AI or LLM-based solutions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with SageMaker, Tableau, or Snowflake Spectrum.
• Knowledge of Data Governance, MDM, Data Quality Management, and Metadata management.
• Experience with OAuth, API Management, Service Mesh, and Active-MQ.
• Proficiency in RDBMS, GraphDB, MongoDB, and Redis.
