What you will do

• Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering organization comprising engineering managers, software engineers, and ML research scientists.
• Own the execution and technical vision of the Physical AI Data Engine platform.
• Develop and oversee data collection infrastructure, teleoperation systems, ML training pipelines, and model evaluation frameworks.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Operations, and GTM teams on architecture and release processes.
• Collaborate with researchers and clients to architect production-grade data infrastructure for complex robotics workloads.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of engineering experience, including 4+ years of direct people management.
• Proven experience leading technical execution for complex hardware-software systems (Robotics, AV, CV, or ML).
• Deep fluency in the ML development lifecycle, specifically training pipelines and data flywheels.
• Technical proficiency in Python, C++, TypeScript/Node, AWS, Kubernetes, and workflow orchestration (Temporal, Airflow).
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• MS or PhD in a technical field.
• Hands-on experience with teleoperation systems (ALOHA, UMI) or imitation learning.
• Background in sensor fusion, SLAM, or 3D data processing.
• Experience scaling data collection systems on a global scale.
