What you will do
- Drive prospecting, identification, and closing of new business with advertisers and agencies in Japan.
- Lead renewal and upsell negotiations for existing clients in collaboration with Account Management teams.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and deal management to testing and closing.
- Articulate DV's value proposition using deep knowledge of the digital media ecosystem, including DSPs and ad servers.
- Conduct research on brands and agencies and build relationships with junior-to-mid level stakeholders.
- Manage all CRM processes via Salesforce and assist with creating localized sales content.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in ad tech, digital advertising, media sales, or a related technical sales field.
- Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including programmatic advertising and social platforms.
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English communication skills (written and verbal) are mandatory.
- Availability to work from the Tokyo office at least 3 days per week.
- Proven ability to build and maintain a sales pipeline and handle client objections.
- Experience collaborating with internal teams to drive business growth.

- Detailed knowledge of Japan's advertising market and major agency landscapes.
- Experience launching product tests, managing pilots, and creating client value stories.
- Hands-on experience in digital ad operations or campaign optimization.
- Comfort working with global teams across different time zones.
