Director / Senior Manager of Experiential Marketing (Experiential Marketing): Lead strategy, execution, and measurement for WordPress VIP’s global portfolio of in-person events with an accent on revenue-generating programs that drive pipeline and accelerate deals. Focus on building event-to-pipeline motion, managing end-to-end event operations, and using AI + analytics to maximize commercial impact.

Location: Fully remote with regular on-site event execution (up to 25% travel)

Salary: $90,000 – $150,000 USD

What you will do

  • Own pipeline contribution strategy for assigned events: define target accounts, set opportunity goals, and coordinate activation with Sales before/during/after events.
  • Design event programs with a clear sourced-pipeline path: prioritize ICP-fit attendees, build intent-based outreach with BDR/Sales partners, and ensure follow-up motion is in place.
  • Track and report SAOs sourced, pipeline influenced, and deals accelerated; use results to improve event ROI and future planning.
  • Run end-to-end event management: manage agencies/vendors, timelines, venues/AV, catering, production schedules, swag, and budgets; handle real-time execution as on-site lead.
  • Build integrated event marketing plans across segmentation, channel mix, content requirements, and success metrics; coordinate with Content, Sales, CS, and Partnerships.
  • Use AI tools and analytics to accelerate planning/research/execution and translate performance data into actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of B2B event marketing experience, ideally in enterprise SaaS or technology.
  • Proven track record connecting event activity to pipeline and measurable revenue outcomes.
  • Experience managing both operational and marketing sides of events, including end-to-end project management.
  • Strong demand generation fundamentals (ABM, segmentation, lead scoring, and follow-up motions that convert).
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce (campaign setup, lead capture, attribution reporting) and marketing automation platforms.
  • Comfort with regular travel for on-site execution (up to 25% of time).
