TL;DR

Junior Financial Transactions Consultant (Finance): Managing billing, collections, and customer service tasks to monitor revenues and maintain cash flow with an accent on invoicing accuracy and accounts receivable management. Focus on optimizing payment processes, resolving billing discrepancies, and supporting RevOps and finance teams.

Location: Hybrid in Sofia, Bulgaria. Must have eligibility to work in Bulgaria; sponsorship is not provided.

Salary: €22,000–€26,000 per annum

What you will do

  • Ensure accurate and timely billing, invoicing for various revenue streams, and subscription management.
  • Manage the collections process, post incoming payments, and issue dunning letters.
  • Reconcile payments with outstanding invoices and provide regular account receivable reports.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer billing enquiries and support the commercial team.
  • Perform month-end activities related to billing and collection to support departmental goals.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in transactional accounting, billing, or collections (AR/AP).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, specifically Pivot tables and V-lookup formulae.
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral.
  • Must be based in or have a valid work permit for Bulgaria.
  • Innovative mindset with a willingness to work with evolving systems.

Nice to have

  • Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics) or Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of Scandinavian languages.
