What you will do

• Administer virtual computing environments and monitoring solutions, specifically VMware vSphere.
• Manage patching, backups, restores, and the support of hardware servers.
• Monitor and maintain fibre optic fabrics and data storage systems.
• Perform tuning, optimization, and capacity planning for virtual environments.
• Recommend and implement security standards and update technical documentation.
• Provide 2nd line support to other IT teams and coordinate with 3rd line support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of professional IT experience.
• Deep experience in administration of complex, large virtual environments such as VMware vSphere or Nutanix.
• Experience with VMware Aria Operations, vSAN, and HPE SAN Storage arrays (e.g., HPE Primera).
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
• Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL-based change, configuration, and release management.
• English: B2 level required.
