Systems Administrator

TL;DR

Systems Administrator (VMware/Windows): Supporting the day-to-day management of IT systems for a global sports broadcasting company with an accent on server hardware, virtualization, and identity management. Focus on maintaining high system availability, troubleshooting escalated issues, and executing IT infrastructure projects.

Location: Hybrid (Eveleigh, NSW). Must have the right to live and work in Australia.

What you will do

• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
• Ensure effectiveness of data backup and recovery processes using Veeam.
• Serve as an escalation point for First Level Support staff.
• Collaborate with local and international teams to plan and execute IT projects and upgrades.
• Adhere to internal security protocols, change control, and incident management procedures.

Requirements

• Experience deploying and supporting Windows Server and administering Active Directory.
• Proficiency with VMWare and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience administering Exchange Online and network switches.
• Familiarity with Okta or other IAM platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
• Must have the legal right to live and work in Australia.
