What you will do

• Administer and maintain enterprise-class backup and restore solutions for on-premises and virtual environments.
• Implement and manage disaster recovery solutions, including data replication and failover procedures.
• Monitor daily backup jobs for cloud services and container platforms, performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Tune and optimize backup infrastructure to accommodate data growth and maintain performance.
• Apply updates and patches to backup, storage, and DR systems to ensure security and support.
• Maintain technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with ITIL standards.

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of enterprise backup/restore and disaster recovery solutions in large IT environments.
• Solid understanding of virtualization platforms like VMware and their integration with backup processes.
• Experience with data protection for cloud/SaaS services like Microsoft 365 and container platforms like OpenShift.
• Familiarity with data replication technologies such as Zerto.
• Experience working within ITIL-based processes including change and incident management.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and follow established procedures.
