Senior Manager, Internal Audit (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Los Angeles, CA. Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for ITAR authorizations.

Salary: $180,000 – $220,000

What you will do

• Build the internal control and audit function from the ground up.
• Lead SOX 404 documentation to bring the company up to public company standards.
• Design and implement the first control apparatus and manage continuous improvement lifecycles.
• Implement audit software platforms and tools such as Auditboard or Workiva.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop ITGCs for internal software platforms.
• Partner with company leadership to drive control frameworks across all business functions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive internal control and audit experience.
• Leadership experience within a Big 4 audit firm.
• CPA, CMA, CISA, or CIA certification strongly preferred.
• Expertise in COSO framework principles and PCAOB Audit standards (minimum 2 years in leadership).
• U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or protected individual status (ITAR requirements).

Nice to have

• Experience building an internal control system ecosystem from scratch.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or B2B software for the manufacturing industry.
• Experience implementing control apparatus software platforms.
