Controller (Finance)

TL;DR

Controller (Finance) (Manufacturing): Leading and coordinating North America finance function in 40–50M manufacturing organisation with an accent on accounting operations, cost accounting, financial reporting, audits, budgeting, cash management, and compliance. Focus on supervising finance team, leading month-end/year-end closes, overseeing inventory and audits, preparing budgets and reports.

Location: Sparta, Wisconsin (On-site, 5 days per week)

Salary: Up to $165,000 per annum

What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate finance team for accounting and data processing
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Oversee inventory control, financial audits, and accounts receivable
• Prepare annual budgets, management/statutory reports, and property tax/NAFTA filings
• Manage cash flow, foreign currency transactions, and costing activities
• Analyse financial/operational data, develop KPIs, and standardise procedures

Requirements

• 4 years as Controller handling full accounting records
• 2–3 years Cost Accounting experience
• 3–5 years in manufacturing environment
• Previous roles as Staff Accountant or Financial Analyst
• Strong understanding of internal controls and GAAP
• Experience with ERP systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• Experience managing accounting for 40–50M organisation
