Controller (Finance Manufacturing)

TL;DR

Location: On-site in Sparta, Wisconsin (5 days per week). Open to relocation.

Salary: $150,000 – $165,000 per annum

What you will do

• Supervise the finance team and coordinate all accounting and financial data processing.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes and oversee inventory control procedures.
• Manage the financial statement audit process and prepare annual budgets for the parent company.
• Oversee cash flow, accounts receivable, and administer foreign currency transactions.
• Prepare statutory financial reports and NAFTA-related filings.
• Standardize and improve internal accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Controller handling full accounting records.
• 2–3 years of Cost Accounting experience.
• 3–5 years of experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong professional understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
• Proven experience working with ERP systems.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Previous experience in roles such as Staff Accountant or Financial Analyst.
