The AI team within ES365 (Microsoft 365 Engineering Systems) builds agentic platforms and tools used by thousands of Microsoft developers.

What you will do

• Define the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the agentic platform from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Prototype AI-driven product concepts and workflows using modern AI developer tools to inform product decisions.
• Design developer experiences for platform discovery, onboarding, and the ecosystem of agents and plugins.
• Collaborate with principal engineers and technical leads to scope work, make trade-offs, and prioritize the roadmap.
• Validate product success using metrics such as adoption, engagement, and tangible productivity impact.
• Align roadmaps with partner teams across Microsoft, including GitHub and DevDiv.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in product/program management or software development.
• Must be located in or be able to work from Redmond, Washington (USA).
• Proven experience shipping developer tools, platforms, or infrastructure products end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
• Expertise in agentic AI patterns including RAG, function calling, and multi-step reasoning.
• Experience driving product adoption at an enterprise scale (10,000+ users).

Nice to have

• 8+ years of relevant experience in product management or software development.
• Prior experience defining strategy for plugin ecosystems, marketplaces, or extensibility platforms.
• Background in developer productivity metrics, CI/CD pipelines, or build systems.
• Experience with enterprise-scale security and compliance for platform governance.
