What you will do

• Drive improvements for electromechanical and electronic switchgear products, including manual motor starters, contactors, and relays.
• Manage the full development cycle from design and measurement to part inspection and testing.
• Lead specific work packages and projects to optimize product performance and production costs.
• Implement new tools and parts while focusing on design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for cost (DFC).
• Troubleshoot and reduce scrap rates within production environments.
• Integrate and continuously improve new technologies and industrial processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• Advanced skills in plastic and metal parts design, including tolerance chain analysis.
• Experience developing switching and protection devices like circuit breakers or contactors.
• Business fluency in German and fluency in English.
• Strong organizational and project structuring capabilities.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of electromagnetic simulation.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma (L6S) tools.
