What you will do

• Translate design concepts into detailed 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and precise product specifications for suppliers.
• Lead technical decision-making regarding materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes to balance aesthetics with structural integrity.
• Collaborate with external suppliers to define product requirements and resolve production or quality issues.
• Perform structural simulations and prototype reviews to ensure compliance with European safety and regulatory standards.
• Develop core modular components to ensure seamless configuration logic across the entire product range.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in product development with a degree in Mechanical or Product Engineering.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion, CATIA, NX) and FEA.
• Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing, and DFM/DFA principles.
• Understanding of modular product logic and BOM (Bill of Materials) translation.
• Fluency in English.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Munich office (Hybrid: 3 days/week).
