What you will do

• Prepare gearbox concepts and cost-effective designs for welded and casted gearboxes.
• Develop bearing design concepts and perform necessary engineering calculations.
• Create detailed CAD models of compressor core units, subsystems, and components.
• Draft technical specifications and lead technical clarifications with vendors.
• Collaborate with the purchasing department to evaluate vendor quotations.
• Develop detailed cost models for complete gearbox and bearing assemblies.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master Degree in mechanical engineering.
• Experience in design activities using 3D CAD software.
• Familiarity with international turbomachinery standards such as API, ATEX, and IEC.
• Location: Must be based in Cologne, Germany for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Experience in order handling of compressors used in process gas industries.
