What you will do

• Own the full monthly and annual close process to achieve a best-in-class timeline.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements for board and investor reporting.
• Manage intercompany transactions and consolidation across US, UK, and Canadian entities.
• Own revenue recognition for a mixed hardware and software business with recurring revenue.
• Evaluate, select, and implement a modern ERP and supporting finance tools (billing, AP automation, expense management).
• Coordinate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions and manage debt facility reporting.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including 2+ years at a venture-backed startup.
• Experience as the sole or primary finance person at a company of 30–150 employees.
• Strong technical skills in revenue recognition (ASC 606), inventory/hardware accounting, and multi-entity consolidation.
• CPA certification.
• International accounting experience covering the US and at least one non-US jurisdiction.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI-native finance tools such as Rillet or Ramp.
• Experience supporting Series B+ fundraising, including data room preparation and due diligence.
• Experience with RaaS, debt facilities, or equipment financing.
• Background in aviation, logistics, robotics, or automation solutions.
