Location: Hybrid; must be based near offices in San Francisco, San Diego, Scottsdale, Houston, Denver, or Princeton
Salary: $134,000 – $190,000 USD

What you will do
- Manage the full lifecycle of large-scale renewable energy projects from initial siting and permitting to financing and handover to construction.
- Lead due diligence on development-stage projects and portfolio acquisitions, prioritizing opportunities based on technical and commercial metrics.
- Negotiate and manage critical project contracts, including PPAs, GIAs, equipment supply agreements, and EPC contracts.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate site layouts, technology options, and transmission interconnection requirements.
- Create and manage project budgets and schedules, navigating internal stage-gate reviews and investment decisions.
- Maintain industry relationships and monitor market trends to ensure proactive development positioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, economics, finance, or environmental science.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the US renewable energy industry with direct experience in full life-cycle development of utility-scale solar and/or wind projects.
- Expertise in land development, including landowner negotiation, title resolution, and GIS.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to execute development strategies.
- Knowledge of governmental mandates and environmental regulations in MISO, ERCOT, and/or SPP markets.
- Must be based in the USA; company will not sponsor non-immigrant visas (H-1B, TN, E-3, etc.)

- Advanced degree in business, finance, law, environmental science, or public policy.
- Experience with battery energy storage systems.
