TL;DR

Location: Must be based out of Central Region offices (USA); partial office and field based with approximately 30% travel.

What you will do

  • Develop and oversee environmental compliance programs for renewable projects, covering local, state, and federal permitting.
  • Manage field audits, reporting, and monitoring for construction projects and energy facilities.
  • Review technical reports to ensure quality control and compliance with regulatory agency policies.
  • Collaborate with EPCs and contractors to provide guidance and interpretation of compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with government agencies and support project legal and finance teams with environmental diligence.
  • Mentor junior staff, manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of project management experience in multi-disciplinary environmental compliance.
  • Based in the US Central Region (MISO, SPP, ERCOT regions).
  • Advanced knowledge of NEPA, USACE, CWA, DOT, SPCC, and Stormwater regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Valid state driver's license and ability to travel 30% of the time.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25lbs and maneuver in steep or muddy field conditions.
