Director, Sales Enablement (AI): Building and scaling the Go-To-Market enablement function from the ground up for a generative AI infrastructure platform with an accent on onboarding, pitch certification, and rep coaching. Focus on transforming early-stage enablement materials into a high-velocity foundation, designing rigorous certification programs, and directly coaching account executives to win technical buyers.
Location: Remote, must be based in the USA (San Mateo, CA office available)
Salary: $246,000 - $270,000 USD

What you will do
- Own and continuously improve the 4-week AE onboarding program covering AI/ML fundamentals, product, and sales process.
- Maintain and expand a use-case pitch deck and talk track library for applications like code completion, conversational AI, and agentic workflows.
- Design and execute a quarterly pitch certification program with formal rubrics, scoring, and feedback loops.
- Provide direct one-on-one coaching to AEs by auditing calls, running workshops, and sharpening sales narratives.
- Implement deal storytelling sessions, win/loss reviews, and peer learning programs to increase team velocity.
- Establish a model and competitive enablement cadence to keep the sales team updated on the evolving AI landscape.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in sales enablement or training at a technical B2B company.
- Proven track record of building an enablement program from scratch rather than maintaining an existing one.
- Experience directly coaching AEs one-on-one to improve performance.
- Strong writing skills for authoring pitch decks, talk tracks, and training materials.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with quarterly product roadmap changes.
- Must be based in the USA.
Nice to have
- Experience in AI/ML, infrastructure, developer tools, or API-first companies.
- Previous experience designing sales certification programs with quantitative evaluation criteria.
- Ability to enable AEs to be credible with technical buyers such as ML engineers and platform leads.
- Experience managing both commercial and enterprise sales motions simultaneously.
