TL;DR

Director, Sales Development (AI): Leading and evolving the SDR function to deliver new business pipeline with an accent on AI-enabled prospecting and automation. Focus on scaling high-performing teams, coaching managers, and integrating AI workflows to improve productivity.

Location: Must be based in Menlo Park, CA (Hybrid: 4 days a week in office)

Salary: $162,400 – $213,150

What you will do

  • Lead and scale the SDR organization for new business, managing 6-8 SDR Managers and their teams.
  • Evolve sales development operations by incorporating AI, automation, and smarter workflows.
  • Coach and develop SDR Managers and early-career talent to transition into successful Account Executives.
  • Drive a data-first performance culture using metrics to improve conversion rates and pipeline quality.
  • Partner with Demand Generation, Field Marketing, and ABM teams to align on messaging and campaigns.
  • Contribute to GTM strategy by providing frontline perspectives on segmentation and outbound effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Sales Development leadership experience, including managing other managers.
  • Proven track record of building high-performing SDR teams that exceed pipeline targets.
  • Experience in hiring and developing early-career talent in a high-growth tech environment.
  • Data-driven approach to performance management and decision-making.
  • Must reside within commuting distance of Menlo Park, CA to support office culture.
