TL;DR

Director, Commercial Programs (Maritime): Building and expanding the commercial sales pipeline for AI-powered maritime sensing systems with an accent on target vertical identification and enterprise deal closing. Focus on developing GTM strategies, opening top-of-funnel opportunities in the shipping and energy sectors, and converting pilots into production contracts.

Location: Remote (United States). Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident due to ITAR/EAR export control regulations.

Salary: $140,000 – $190,000 base per year.

hirify.global is building AI-powered sonar and sensing systems to provide persistent maritime awareness for commercial and defense applications.

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end commercial sales pipeline from identification to closing.
  • Identify and develop target verticals including port authorities, offshore energy, and subsea telecom.
  • Create GTM positioning, pricing strategies, and commercial terms for non-government buyers.
  • Lead customer engagements, including technical discussions and pilot program scoping.
  • Build channel partnerships, reseller relationships, and strategic alliances.
  • Provide market intelligence to leadership to influence product development.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in maritime business development or enterprise sales.
  • Strong professional network in shipping, oil & gas, offshore wind, or subsea telecom.
  • Proven track record of closing six- and seven-figure deals.
  • Ability to manage complex procurement processes with institutional buyers.
  • Comfort discussing sensor technology, data analytics, and autonomous systems.
  • Willingness to travel 25–40% domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

  • Direct sales experience with port authorities or maritime logistics operators.
  • Knowledge of maritime sensors or subsea technology.
  • Experience working in a startup or growth-stage tech company.
