Location: Must be based in Perth, Australia, with work performed at Bassendean, Burswood, or Wattle Grove sites.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with site and finance teams to ensure accurate product costing and variance analysis.
  • Identify key value drivers and track KPIs to ensure data integrity.
  • Shape budgets and refine cost forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee capital expenditure budgets and support fixed asset audits.
  • Maintain ERP system accuracy and provide data-driven insights to internal customers.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance plant flexibility, efficiency, and operational security.

Requirements

  • Qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or a related field.
  • CPA or CA qualification is preferred.
  • Experience in Financial Accounting or Operational Finance within a heavy engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in budgeting and forecasting within complex manufacturing settings.
  • Strong knowledge of standard cost accounting, investment appraisal, and variance analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute process improvements and value-creation initiatives.
