What you will do
- Lead financial reporting and analysis for the global supply chain function to boost margins and operational efficiency.
- Manage annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across cross-functional teams.
- Provide detailed monthly analysis on freight, warehousing, inventory, and overhead costs.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Manufacturing to improve working capital and monitor capital investments.
- Develop scenario analyses and financial models to accelerate leadership decision-making.
- Champion automation in reporting and deliver financial education sessions to build team capability.
Requirements
- Must hold full, unrestricted Australian working rights and be based in Australia.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial planning or operational finance, ideally within heavy engineering or manufacturing.
- Hands-on expertise in cost accounting, inventory analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Track record of leading process improvements and driving value creation.
- CPA or CA qualification is preferred.
