Senior Claims Advocate (Insurance)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 USD annual base salary for the full-time position, with potential eligibility for an annual performance-based incentive.

What you will do

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve General Liability Bodily Injury, Property Damage, and Professional Liability claims.
• Analyze coverage, liability, and damages using policy terms, claim reports, statutes, and case law.
• Communicate with policyholders, claimants, and witnesses to gather information, provide updates, and guide claims through resolution.
• Identify potentially fraudulent claims and refer them to the Special Investigations Unit.
• Pursue third-party subrogation opportunities and maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
• Apply empathetic customer service and clear communication throughout the claims process.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience handling liability claims involving bodily injury.
• Experience with coverage analysis, claim investigation, compliance-focused handling, injury evaluation, and negotiation.
• Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills.
• Must hold or promptly obtain a Texas Independent Adjuster License.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure, diffuse tension, and follow cases through to resolution.
