What you will do

• Generate and distribute customer invoices and monitor payments to ensure efficiency and correctness.
• Process inter-company invoices within deadlines and reconcile affiliated accounts to the general ledger.
• Manage large customer accounts using EDI functions and consolidated Excel reporting.
• Conduct collection activities, including researching past due invoices and communicating with customers.
• Investigate and reconcile customer account discrepancies and escalate invoicing concerns.
• Research sales and use tax issues and process credit card payments.

Requirements

• Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in billing and collections.
• Proficiency in SAP/S4Hanna or other ERP accounting software.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid team environment in Dulles, VA.

• Previous work experience with Vertex sales tax software.
