What you will do

• Lead the architectural design and system-level requirements for new and enhanced medical products.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to partition functionality into electronic, software, and mechanical subsystems.
• Establish performance, safety, and cost specifications while managing system-level risk.
• Resolve complex cross-functional design issues and interface challenges during implementation.
• Oversee integration and verification testing to ensure systems meet clinical and regulatory requirements.
• Document system operating principles and interface specifications for product lifecycle management.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Engineering with training in systems, electronics, software, and mechanical disciplines.
• 15+ years of experience developing electronic hardware and embedded software for real-time measuring instruments.
• 10+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer leading architectural design for complex medical devices.
• 7+ years of experience leading multiprocessor systems incorporating analog/digital electronics and real-time software.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; no immigration-related sponsorship provided.
• Knowledge of FDA and European medical device regulations and standards.
