What you will do

• Design and develop automated tooling and hardware using 3D CAD and GD&T.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from requirements intake and design to commissioning and ongoing support.
• Create custom automation equipment, including robotic end-of-arm tools and material handling systems.
• Provide production support and perform root cause analysis to improve the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing processes.
• Integrate mechanical, electronic, and pneumatic components into unified, scalable systems.
• Oversee vendor and supplier management for hardware procurement and technical implementation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the design, procurement, assembly, and maintenance of automated tooling or equipment.
• 10+ years of experience utilizing CAD with advanced ability to implement GD&T on 2D drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving abilities.
• Deep understanding of control systems, robotics, and industrial automation processes.
• U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or lawful admission as a refugee/asylee is strictly required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience with ANSYS or similar simulation software for FEA and multiphysics analysis.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or MATLAB.
• Experience interpreting electrical drawings and modifying PLC, CNC, or Robot programs.
