What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end implementation and scaling of the correspondent banking model from 0 to 1.
• Manage integrations with correspondent network managers, retailers, and aggregators.
• Coordinate regulatory approval processes with the CNBV, including the preparation and submission of the Business Strategic Plan (PEN).
• Define and document operational processes, controls, and reconciliation flows.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including transaction monitoring, SLAs, and operational continuity.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Product, Tech, Operations, Legal, and Compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in banking, fintech, or payments, specifically focused on banking correspondents.
• Hands-on experience with CNBV processes and PEN preparation.
• Strong understanding of the Mexican regulatory framework.
• Expertise in reconciliation, settlement, incident management, and risk controls.
• Native Spanish and advanced English proficiency.
• Must be based in Mexico for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience launching new payment rails or financial products.
• Prior interaction with regulators or authorization processes.
• Experience working with retailers or non-bank correspondent networks.
