What you will do

• Provide practical legal counsel on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and employment matters.
• Develop and implement company policies, procedures, and compliance controls.
• Manage day-to-day legal department operations, including workflows and contract management.
• Supervise and mentor staff counsel and legal operations professionals.
• Coordinate outside counsel for litigation and specialized legal issues.
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including client engagement letters and professional services contracts.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree required.
• Valid bar admission with eligibility for Illinois, New York, or Texas bar.
• 8+ years of legal experience.
• Experience providing legal support to a consulting firm or professional services business.
• Strong legal and business judgment with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced business environment.
