Location: Based in Westlake, Texas (Remote candidates may be considered with periodic travel)

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements including MSAs, licensing, and vendor contracts.
• Oversee litigation strategy, dispute resolution, and customer billing collections in partnership with outside counsel.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of legal professionals including attorneys and paralegals.
• Refine legal workflows, contract lifecycle management, and approval processes to drive operational efficiency.
• Provide actionable risk assessments and business-oriented legal counsel to senior executives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, HR, and Engineering to support product launches and business objectives.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school and active state bar membership (Texas preferred).
• 15+ years of legal experience with a substantial background in complex commercial agreements.
• Proven in-house and supervisory experience required.
• Experience advising HR on employment law matters and responding to agency investigations.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to distill complex legal issues for non-legal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with consumer credit and financial services laws (GLBA, CCPA, TCPA, FCRA).
