What you will do

• Manage the HR email inbox, providing professional support for payroll, benefits, and leave inquiries.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including I-9 processing, background checks, and IT/payroll synchronization.
• Partner with the Benefits Manager to develop wellness programs and coordinate annual open enrollment activities.
• Organize logistics for in-office and virtual events to foster a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
• Track compliance training and contingent worker records to meet internal and regulatory standards.
• Conduct data research and prepare reports to support human resources and business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (HR coursework preferred).
• 2+ years of proven experience in an HR or recruiting team.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be based in the San Mateo, CA headquarters office.

Nice to have

• Experience with HRIS/ATS systems such as Workday or Greenhouse.
